Dating a coin

Here you have a picture of a coin which dating is 120 BC (that means Before Christ), as you can read on its inscriptions ...

 ...but these inscriptions do not mean that the coin was made before Christ... ...Why?

    That there is a coin that has the inscrption AC or BC (in english) does not necessarily mean that the currency earlier than Christ and the coin is false.
    Roman coins of that era had the inscription SC meaning is Senato Consulto.
